Wood Clocks

All of Bruce's clock cases are solid hardwood, entirely handcrafted. Designs are traditional, or replicas of Shaker clocks, or original. Some clocks have brass wind-up chiming movements that play the Westminster chime melody on the quarter hour or have a “bim-bam” chime to count the hour and sound the half-hour. A high-quality chiming quartz movement is an alternative for some clocks, and others have time-only quartz movements. All cases and movements are guaranteed against defects for 2 yrs. Limited numbers of each style and wood selection available.
Tower Clock
Made of solid walnut and cherry, this clock was inspired by the McGraw Tower Clock on the Cornell University campus. Standing 12" tall, it features 3 quartz insert clocks on the front and sides. It is offered with and without a "pumpkin" on its top, the former to commemorate the prank in 1997 when a 60-pound pumpkin was found mysteriously impaled on the top of the spire.
