Several years ago the gift shop where I worked was destroyed by fire. I sat on the curb watching the building smolder, and wondering what am I going to do now? The woman sitting next to me told me that she was giving up her glass mosaic business to go back to school, and in a snap decision I started a new career by buying her business on the spot. After two lessons I was on my way! I hand cut all the glass that I use, incorporate stones from the shores of Cayuga Lake and also use found objects to create colorful frames, mirrors and custom work.
