Leather Bags by
I have always loved to "make things." I remember trying to "make things" with construction paper and glitter and glue when I was only 5. My first job after High School was in a leather shop. No one there knew how to sew, so I made it up as I went along. I loved the process of figuring out how to put it all together. That was in 1970. Somehow, I'm still doing it! I love color and texture most of all so my work is now a combination of leather, tapestry and other materials. I think of it as a sort of painting.
My bags are all one-of-a-kind. I play with different colors, fabrics, leathers and combinations according to what is available at the time and where my mood takes me. Please visit Handwork to see my current collection or contact us for current descriptions.
