"My imagination sparks my creativity. I am always trying to expand the limits of my clay work. Each piece that I create is a one-of-a-kind that reflects my interests. I am inspired by elements of nature, animals, fish and the human figure. Humor is an important quality in my artwork and I try to express this element in each piece. Using a strong pottery form and natural elements, making a relationship between these two in a humorous way is what my work is all about."
Chet received a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute and a MFA from SUNY at New Paltz.
