Wood Sculpture
by
June Szabo
My fiber works are explorations of color and pattern. My other works are investigations of structure and form. Most often my work is inspired by nature, not only by the beauty I see, but also by a desire to understand why things appear as they do.
My art work is an investigation of the world around me; I am intrigued by its appearance, history, structures and forms. Each sculpture is more than a representation of an object or a place; it also depicts what I have learned.
