Being a potter is more than having a job or following a way of life. It is being welcomed into a family. All the potters I've worked with and learned from have given generously and with sincere love for the craft.
Clay is both my child and my teacher. It requires guidance and encouragement, demands my attention, exposes my mistakes without judgment, and rewards me in endless potential.
I want each pot to have strength to stand alone, humility to stand as one of many, with so much joy, that nothing else matters.
