Constructing forts in the woods, marveling at the movements of crawfish in the creek, seeing a flick of movement out of the corner of your eye and feeling that moment of wonder where you aren't sure what it is you just saw--- the type of magical moments where play and curiosity fill us up with the joy of being alive.

In honor of those moments and the Spring Awakening we have a fresh front window display featuring two visiting artists along with a variety of work from our Handwork artisans.

Our two visiting artists are from Trumansburg. Louise Adie is a naturalist who constructs her fairy houses using curious and whimsical found objects along with natural materials creating a world that you might hope to stumble upon in a secret corner of the woods. You will find something new every time you take a peek into this magical realm. Her work inspires childlike wonder - connecting us to a world that is living alongside our own, hidden yet felt by those who choose to take the time to stop, listen and observe.

Floating above our Fairy village is the work of Cori Vogel. She creates her one of a kind fairies using wire, thread, natural materials and silk. They can be hung in a variety of different ways - standing straight up or flying horizontally.
