I grew up near Ithaca, and have been back to my hometown since 1998. I have been selling my notecards, prints and other paper goods at the Ithaca Farmers' Market since 2000, and freelance locally and abroad in illustration and graphic design. I particularly enjoy working with groups that have an environmental mission.
I am trained as a scientific illustrator, with an eye towards the beauty of the natural world and an obsession with the details that might otherwise go unnoticed. Trees have a particular fascination in my creative universe. I also love to travel (sketchbook and camera in hand), and feel fortunate that my freelance work has offered many opportunities to absorb inspiration from the larger world.
