Slightly concaved and textured sterling silver disks dangle from the enamel flower. The three disks are linked by soldered rings, making for lightweight earrings that flow nicely. The process for making the earrings involves cutting copper sheets, firing layers of enamel in a kiln, drawing with graphite, and painting the flower. Backsides of the earrings are also enameled.

I approach my craft with 15 years of experience using traditional and time-honored metalsmithing traditions in my upstate NY studio.

Caring for the environment is a keystone of my practice. I source my metals from companies that provide recycled material. Sourcing from sustainable companies that reclaim and process fine metals means that my materials are not newly mined, which makes for an eco-friendly practice.
