Colorful Double Bird Vase

Item Description: Handmade ceramic bird vase by Chet Salustri. This colorful and whimsical pottery vase features two quirky bird heads. It is glazed in bright colors of orange, blue, yellow, red and black. About the Artist: Chet's method of production involves combining thrown pottery forms with hand built forms. When the forms are hard, they are cut and designed to make one piece. He makes cups, bowls, teapots, vases and covered jars. The glazing process involves applying underglaze color with a spray gun along with some brush work. After the work is fired in a kiln, he covers the piece with glaze and fire again to give a glossy finish. Product Details: Measures 6" tall and 5" at its widest. Base measures 2.5", with a 1" opening. Food safe and washable.
