Drummer is a book sculpture exploring the peace that can be found in music. This mixed media book diorama is comprised of a several hand-folded upcycled books, a book base, tree bark, and a photograph of a person playing the drum.

About the Artist:

The altered books Teresa creates are rooted in personal stories of simple moments she has been moved and transformed by. She is deeply inspired by nature and collects many of the mosses, lichen, stones and tree bark she incorporates into her work. The fine details and dimensionality of her book assemblages will draw you into the mystery of her miniature worlds. Book sculptures can also be customized.
