Pinecone Risograph Art Print

Item Description: Pinecone risograph art print by Katherine Watson. Katharine creates a linoleum block of the design, which she prints and turns into art to be risograph printed in two overlapping colors. The print is on cream paper and is signed in the lower right corner. About the Artist: Katharine fell in love with the history and opportunity that are inherent to printmaking when she was a student at Kenyon College. She starts most projects with a sketch that is translated to a linoleum block and then carved by hand. She later prints these designs onto stationery, textiles, ceramics, and other beautiful, usable, everyday goods. Katharine demonstrates her love for the important traditions of printmaking through persistent experimentation within the form. Product Details: Measures 14" x 11".
