Holding Hope Macrame

I discovered the art of macrame in the fall of 2025, and it instantly became a passion of mine. My art has always been in the form of music, as a singer, songwriter & teacher, but now I am also a "maker" and it is so much fun! Holding HOPE Macrame is my artistic expression of creating beauty and resilience in the face of personal and worldly obstacles. It is my way of healing quietly, tying knots into unique creations of art, while simultaneously offering new beauty for my community to behold. Materials I use are cotton cord, driftwood found at the shores of Cayuga Lake, wooden or glass beads to add pops of color, and hoops of many sizes. I am just getting started and am excited to continue to learn, grow and create as a macrame artist! I also LOVE to teach macrame classes where community members learn to create their own plant hangers, wall hangings, tree of life hoops and more!
