This stunning necklace is utterly unique! The handcrafted lampwork glass beads are individually patterned with waves, dots, and swirls. A small, black, geometric pyrite bead separates each glass bead; these smaller beads make up the chain of the necklace as well. Finished with a toggle clasp etched to look like a lizard eating its tail.

About the Artist:

Her lampwork glass beads are individually handmade at a torch and then annealed in a kiln overnight to make them strong and stable. She makes her beads using soda lime glass (also known as soft glass) rods that come from Italy, Germany, China, and the U.S, which she shapes and decorates at the torch. Her designs include sterling silver components and often incorporate Czech glass beads, Swarovski crystal, and semiprecious stones such as turquoise, lapis, citrine, and pyrite.
