My works are Objet Trouve' Assemblages. Which are defined as: Natural objects not originally intended as art, found and considered to have aesthetic value. So that is a fancy way to say I collect stones and occasionally bones, shells and wood to create my natural earth born art. In 1997 some friends invited me to go with them to Long Point State Park on Cayuga Lake from Ithaca, New York. While there I discovered a myriad of interesting shaped stones that I gathered and took home to 'play with'. As I started to see how these nature shaped puzzle pieces would fit together to make a greater whole I had an inspiring revelation that I was on to something. I realized that I tapped into a creative childhood experience of wide eye wonder and discovery as Earth Born Art was birthed.
