Painted Crow Vase

This hand painted vase depicts a mother crow perched attentively on the side. Turning the vase, you'll notice a spindly branch that holds a nest with a baby crow inside. This vase has a wide opening and is large enough for most small to medium sized bouquets!

About the Artist:

Smokepail Studios is the brainchild of mother-daughter duo Dia and Ellen Haffar. Combining hand-thrown forms with a vibrant illustrative style, their work celebrates the diverse assembly of earth's creatures with a healthy dose of humor and whimsy. What began with a borrowed wheel and makeshift outdoor kiln (inspiring the name "Smokepail Studios") is now a full time shared artistic pursuit driven by the pair's passion for pottery and painting. Ellen and Dia can be found at art markets around New York State, and Handwork is thrilled to represent them in our store!
