Since 2004, Sunbeam's mission has been to create a beautifully handcrafted product with the least cost to mother earth. To this day, through the growth of their business and family their mission remains the same - to hand craft, distribute and sell the highest quality candles at the least cost to Mother Earth with unequivocal attention to detail incorporating the most natural and wholesome ingredients available.
The Sunbeam Candles shop runs on a 3,520W solar electric (photovoltaic) system. This system ties directly to the utility grid–no batteries–and generates roughly 10 kWh per day or 3,750 kWh per year of pollution-free electricity. What electricity we don’t make, we buy from companies producing electricity from 100% renewable resources such as wind power and biomass generation. So, all the energy we use at Sunbeam Candles is renewable, all year long.
