Tan Tapestry Crossbody Purse

Handmade by Pat Halpen. This tan crossbody purse is made from a tapestry imported from Turkey. It has three interior pockets (one zipper and two regular) as well as a built-in interior keychain attachment. Top of purse zips closed. A unique piece fit for any occasion!

Pat has always loved to "make things." Her first job after High School was in a leather shop. No one there knew how to sew, so she made it up as she went along. She loved the process of figuring out how to put it all together. She loves color and texture most of all so her work is now a combination of leather, tapestry and other materials. She thinks of it as a sort of painting.
