About the Artist:

Laura Burch has been making and selling her porcelain pottery in Central New York for almost 20 years. It was while attending classes as a child at the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, New York, that she first experienced clay and learned to use the potter's wheel. Since then she has taught workshops and participated in national exhibitions, while mostly making her living selling her work at craft fairs, galleries, and at Handwork. Rabbits, frogs, floral patterns and birds are some signature motifs in Laura's work.
