Teal and Black Butterdish

Measurements: 7.75" long, 3" wide, 3.75" tall with top. Handmade by Betsy Gram. Due to the handmade nature of ceramics, there may be minor variations from what is pictured in the photos and the piece you receive. Betsy�s work is formed using various hand-building techniques, such as slab work, coiling, and pinching, resulting in pieces that are whimsical and organic. The white stoneware clay provides a clean background for hand-painted patterns created with under-glazes. Betsy�s influences include art-deco patterns, the natural world, and her grandmother�s quilts. She hopes her pieces will bring a sense of joy and beauty to their users, believing that functional objects can be a perfect way to do this. As part of her environmental commitment, Betsy donates funds to have one tree planted in our National Parks for each piece of work sold..
