Product Description: Handmade ceramic earrings by StitchPrism Jewelry. These beautiful and unique large half moon stud earrings are made from glazed and kiln-fired ceramic. About the Artist: StitchPrism is designed and produced by KellyAnne Mifflin in Southwest Philadelphia. KellyAnne, a queer artist living with chronic illness, is a self-taught ceramicist who has been making adornment for body and home since 2009. All pieces begin as wet porcelain clay, then are cut and formed into shapes, joined with high heat wire, glazed in our signature colors, and fired in the kiln to 2232 degrees. They are topped with gold or silver metallic luster and kiln fired again, then paired with sterling silver, gold-filled, or surgical steel findings. Product Details: Studs measure 1.4" long by .75" wide. Earring posts are surgical steel, nickel free. Earrings are waterproof.
