Born in Mérida, Venezuela, Cruz Newman is an artist now based in the picturesque Finger Lakes region of the US. With a background in industrial design, she embarked on a journey to London to explore the world and learn English. In 2015, love and life led her to the US, where she discovered a wellspring of inspiration in the Finger Lakes. Cruz's artistic journey has seen her experiment with various mediums, but her heart now belongs to watercolor, which brings her whimsical illustrations to life.
